Cookie Bon~bons!

Most of you know that this blog is written by my sister, Jessie and I. We always find ourselves talking about sweets and what we could do next with our confections. We decided that we should combine the things we both love most and see what happens! With Jessie's love of chocolate, and my love for baked goods we came up with... Cookie Bon~bons!

What could be better than your favorite cookie dipped in chocolate? How about a cookie that is specifically designed for your special occasion? Imagine one of your favorite childhood cookies dipped in yummy milk, dark, or white chocolate then adorned with special design work to complement your special occasion! These Cookie Bon~bons would be great favors for a wedding or party. How about adding these to a table of sweets for a birthday or shower? The possibilities are endless, from graduation to baby showers, weddings, birthdays, corporate events...you name it!

You can now purchase the Oreo Bon~bons by the dozen! Your Bon~bons will be packaged with care, and will cost $14.95.
Because of the delicate nature of these Bon~bons we have decided not to ship them. You can order these treats if you are local to Jackson county, MI. or Moore County, NC. You can contact either Jessie or myself through our Facebook pages. Simply click on our names below.

Edible peice of art!

My daughter loves art. She loves to look at art, read about art, and make her own brilliant masterpieces! I decided to surprise her with these fun cupcakes. I made one dozen cupcakes along with one batch of homemade butter cream frosting. I then divided the frosting into separate bowls and colored each one a different color. I frosted each cupcake in a different color and then placed them on a wooden artist pallet. The pallet was easy to find. Any local craft or art supply store should carry them. I made a edible paint brush using different types of candy. I used a long green apple laffy taffy and pull apart licorice for the brush. She loved that this edible confection was a piece of art in itself! She was so glad to eat the delicious cupcakes and keep the pallet for her own use! This idea was so cute I just had to share it with you.
